Merging OCHA reporting products

The Digital Situation Report should be able to accommodate content from all pre-existing core reporting products (Flash Update, Situation Report and Humanitarian Bulletin), as well as other types of content.

Using headings and content type categories, any kind of information should be able to fit easily into this format. If certain issues are priorities, you can ensure that these appear first by rearranging the modules in Contentful (see technical guidance). This moves OCHA reporting products closer to the approach used in mainstream and other online media, which does not create new sites or separate products for certain kinds of information. For example, the New York Times reports on crisis situations within the existing New York Times website or newspaper using headings and placement to demonstrate urgency; it does not create separate products for crises.
