Getting Started - Working with Site Analytics

Overview

The tool we use at OCHA is Google Analytics.

When working with analytics, it’s important to remember that it is more valuable to look at trends rather than absolute numbers.  It is exciting to see a “high” number of users for a particular month - but, remember it’s more important to compare your data over time than to look at an individual snapshot.

How to get access to your site analytics

To gain access to Google Analytics,  link your un.org email account with a Google account.

Refer to the "Use an existing email address" section of the instructions here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/27441?hl=en#:~:text=Use%20an%20existing%20email%20address

For ReliefWeb access, complete this form: https://docs.google.com/a/reliefweb.int/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe3CjTydCDUXah174ZRNsmenAIRlJn8TUbAFzTgzR6LpYpPSw/viewform

For all other platforms, contact the support team (support@unocha.org) .
