Flash Updates are associated with Digital Situation Reports. Therefore, you You must have access to a published Digital Situation Report before you can issue a Flash Update. Do not create a new situation report. Instead link to an existing SitRep (see instructions below) |

Create a Flash Update
Flash Updates are created from the main editing page.

Click “Publish” in the right sidebar to publish your Flash Update. It will appear on your Digital Situation Report after publishing.

Unpublish a Flash Update
You can remove a Flash Update before the time expires.
Locate your Flash Update. The quickest way is to use the search bar in Content to filter for Flash Updates.
Click on your Flash Update to open the Editor.
In the right sidebar, click on the arrow next to Change Status.
Click Unpublish from the dropdown.
Click Yes, unpublish anyway in the pop-up window to confirm.
